Van is a partner in our Dispute Management Department and is an experienced litigator with almost twenty five years experience of resolving disputes and representing clients in cases at the Court of Session, Sheriff Court throughout Scotland and at Employment Tribunal.
Van provides specific advice in the areas of health and safety, where he defends employers’ liability/public liability/personal injury claims for our commercial, insurance and utilities’ clients, and employment law where he tries to keep our clients out of Employment Tribunals.
Van’s considerable experience in advising on contentious commercial matters enables him to get quickly to the heart of the matter and provide focused, practical advice to our clients.
When not working, Van enjoys acting as an unpaid albeit underappreciated taxi driver to his three children who have the social life he once had.
