Katharine Mellor

Katharine is a Partner in the Corporate Team. Her principal areas of practice are in mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations and re-constructions, partnerships and LLPs and charitable companies. She has a particular interest in the healthcare sector and not for profit organisations. She also heads up the firm's Healthcare Group.

She has experience of various public/private operational projects in connection with devolution of NHS and local authority services. These have been delivered via a variety of legal structures, Joint Venture Companies, LLPs and Partnerships.

Katharine was the first female president of Manchester Law Society. She had held non-executive director positions on the National Blood Authority and south Manchester NHS Hospital Trust. She is currently a board member of Pro Manchester Ltd.
