Andrew Leaitherland

Managing Partner

As Managing Partner, CEO and part of the strategic board, Andrew Leaitherland is responsible for implementing the strategic direction of DWF. Andrew has overseen the significant growth of the firm over the last five years, increasing from £30m to a combined firm turnover of over £200m and trebling net profit whilst increasing DWF's head count from 500 to 2,500 people. Significantly, he has been instrumental in developing the infrastructure, processes and systems to support the firm's growth.

Placing a strong emphasis on the DWF values, Andrew is committed to recruiting, retaining and developing the best quality people and ensuring outstanding client service. This is central to the philosophy and culture he instils across the business.

The combination of innovative leadership and focus on values has seen DWF named Legal Business, National Law Firm of the Year in 2011 and Andrew short listed as a finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2011 - North and Midlands regions. The firm continues to take great strides towards its ambition to reach Top 20.
