Protecting your reputation and your revenue – media containment and business continuity
When you are experiencing a business crisis there’s plenty to think about - protecting your legal position - keeping your customers and other stakeholders informed - protecting your reputation - looking after your employees and keeping your day-to-day business on track.
Our Crisis Response service, which is free to join, provides regular legal updates as well as round-the-clock access to regulatory lawyers, specialists in media containment, employee well-being and business recovery. Find out more click here.
As part of our on-going Crisis Response workshop programme our next sessions will examine how you keep your business running during a crisis scenario including, by popular demand, how to monitor and protect your reputation online.
The interactive sessions will be led by Tangerine PR, one of the UK’s leading PR consultancies and Onyx Group, specialists in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, will use realistic scenarios to provide practical guidance on dealing with a crisis situation.

Break-out sessions:
Break-out session 1: Practical Issues: Onyx
Major business disruptions such as fire, flood, theft and communications failure are unwelcome and unpredictable problems, but the reality is that they do happen and, if you’re not prepared, can have seriously adverse effects on your business. Do you know, for example, exactly how you would continue to deliver your services if staff couldn’t get into your company headquarters tomorrow? Or what would happen if you lost all your critical IT systems and data? How long would it take to get things up and running as normal? What would be the impact on service, reputation and revenues?
In this session, Andrew Sinclair from Onyx Group will talk you through the steps you can take to prepare for a disaster, to ensure that your business isn’t compromised by loss of premises or data.
Break-out session 2: Reputation Issues: Tangerine
The saying ‘a crisis is around the world while you’re getting your pants on in the morning’ has never been more valid. In this break out session, Tangerine’s head of digital, Ben Aronson, will take delegates through how to monitor and use social media channels to communicate with audiences in the event of a crisis, preventing massive loss of reputation via these all-important 24/7 channels.
